Seth, a life a song
Dear Ephraim
Thanks ephraim! Yes I am having a good birthday.. Of course by the time this reaches you the 4th of July will be far behind..So.... yes I had a good birthday. I didn't have the same jovial anticipation for this birthday, not that I don't like hanging out with the family and shooting off colorful fireworks. I Just didn't spend every waking moment thinking about it like I used to, you know what I'm saying.
About a year ago my friend Nathan comes up to me and starts to telling me about this book and that the main character is exactly like me, but since the title was "Diary of a wimpy kid" I sort of took this as an insult. But hyrum and arleene gave me that same book for my birthday and after reading for like two hours I realize "This kid is exactly like me ! First off, it's about a middle school aged boy named greg who has a crush on a girl, from church who has two wacky parents and siblings and thinks, acts, and talks just I would/have spoken to people. You could pretty much tear pages from my journal and sell them as the same book, I kid you not! A for fireworks. Aunt Jeni's neighborhood strictly prohibits the use of any fire works, so I only got to light off two smoke grenades ("Did you know that grenade is french for Pomegranate?") one burned my hand and I dropped it on a little unsuspecting ant, covering him in smelly gas. I can just see him telling his wife later that day: "It was terrifying! All I could see out of the smoke was the shape of that giant!". The second later I tried to throw it in front of a truck that was moving on the other side of a big bushel of a tree... Unfortunately I didn't pull the chord fast enough so I chased after the truck while the grenade went off in my hand. Hopefully I'll be able to set off some real fire works later today. I'm trying to convince mom to get me this game called "mass effect", it looks pretty cool.. Well That's it for this week's e-mail, be sure to "toon" in next time to Seth and his wise cracking man servant: Doug!
